A building with a red flag showing the words 'Labour Stronger Future Together'

JFG Comms is going to the Labour Party Conference 2021

We are thoroughly looking forward to attending the Labour Party Conference in Brighton on 25-29 September.

The Party Conference season is always one of the highlights of our year, and this year’s conferences are set to be as intriguing as ever.

Over the past year, thrown off course by the pandemic and internal conflicts, the Labour Party’s vision has struggled to rival the Conservative’s ‘levelling up’ and ‘bouncing back’ agendas. This has reflected in recent opinion polls and closely fought by-elections.

With the country largely vaccinated and the eyes of Westminster turning towards the long-term future, it will be fascinating to see how the Labour Party defines itself and its vision.

No doubt central to this will be combatting climate change. With COP26 on the horizon, it will be fascinating to hear how the path to net zero feeds into policy conversations about the future of the transport and infrastructure sectors.

As ever, we will have our fingers firmly on the pulse. We will be attending the transport and infrastructure fringe events to see how this all unfolds; we will be monitoring the hot topics and gathering intelligence from MPs and industry experts to understand where the industry is headed; and we will also be tuning into discussions on equality, diversity and related issues.

We are also looking forward to the networking opportunities that come with the return of in-person conferences. We will be meeting some of our industry colleagues and hope to reach out to some new faces.

If you're attending conference and are not sure which events to go to, we'd be happy to advise. Likewise, if you’d like to meet our Chief Executive, Jo Field, during the conference please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We know the conference is of interest to many of our customers and associates. So we'll be tweeting our thoughts, opinions and items of interest from the event. We will also blog about the Labour Party Conference afterwards to share our core learnings and transport industry news and insights, including on diversity.
