Research to examine gender issues for women in construction PR.

CAPSIG commissioned us to research the gender issues experienced by the niche group of women working in construction PR. This involved design and development of an online survey, followed up with telephone interviews to gain a more in-depth understanding of the opinions and perceptions of women working in construction PR and marketing. The key areas we looked at included flexible working, mentoring and unconscious bias. Our social research team analysed the data and produced an in-depth report, accompanied by a series of policy recommendations for CAPSIG to take forward with their members.
