JFG Communications to support delivery of inclusive infrastructure across East London
JFG Communications has been appointed to the London Legacy Development Corporation’s (LLDC) Engineering and Associated Services Framework as part of the Buro Happold-led team, alongside AECOM, LDA Design and Turner & Townsend.
The appointment recognises the critical role that effective stakeholder engagement and strategic communications play in delivering infrastructure, regeneration and placemaking projects that create lasting benefits for communities.
Working with Buro Happold and partners, JFG will support LLDC in delivering its ambitions for safe, inclusive and accessible places across East London, helping to engage communities and stakeholders as plans for future development take shape.
The framework provides a key delivery vehicle for LLDC and the wider Greater London Authority (GLA) group, supporting the delivery of integrated public realm, highways and infrastructure projects that unlock economic growth and create places where people and businesses can thrive.
Jo Field OBE, Founder and Chief Executive of JFG Communications, said:
“We are excited to be partnering with Buro Happold on the LLDC framework and believe this is a real opportunity to raise the bar on how public spaces are planned and delivered, by focusing on how safe and inclusive they feel for everyone.
“Successful infrastructure is not just about what is built, but how communities are involved in shaping the places they use every day. We look forward to bringing our expertise in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications to support LLDC’s ambitions.”
The appointment builds on LLDC’s legacy as the organisation responsible for transforming the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and surrounding areas following the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The framework will help support continued investment and regeneration across East London, ensuring future development delivers social, economic and environmental value.
JFG Communications brings extensive experience supporting major infrastructure, transport and regeneration programmes, helping organisations engage communities, build trust and communicate the benefits of investment.
The Buro Happold team includes AECOM, JFG Communications, LDA Design and Turner & Townsend.
